Nigerian singer Asake has been nominated for the 2025 Brit Awards in the International Artist of the Year category. This marks his second consecutive nomination, following his recognition in 2024. In this category, he will compete against global stars such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Kendrick Lamar.
Asake’s successful 2024 was highlighted by the release of his third album, “Lungu Boy,” which featured collaborations with artists like Wizkid, Stormzy, Central Cee, and Ludmila. He is the only Nigerian artist nominated in this year’s Brit Awards.
The 2025 Brit Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 1, 2025, at London’s O2 Arena, with Jack Whitehall as the host.
