Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems delivered a captivating live performance at The O2 Arena in London during Aston Martin’s unveiling of their 2025 Formula 1 car. The Grammy Award-winning artist performed her song “Higher” from her 2020 debut EP, “For Broken Ears,” as the new racing green car was revealed on stage. The event featured a live band with violinists, trumpeters, and saxophonists, enhancing the soulful atmosphere. Tems was later joined on stage by Aston Martin drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso.
This performance is part of Formula 1’s special launch event, where all ten teams unveiled their new designs ahead of the upcoming season. Notably, Ferrari introduced their latest challenger with newly signed driver Lewis Hamilton and teammate Charles Leclerc.
Tems’ song “Higher” gained international recognition when it was sampled in Drake and Future’s Grammy-winning hit “Wait For U.”
